Solenari Care is a small digital publisher. We make gentle, practical guides for the long walk through grief and loss.
Why we started
We started because we needed what we now write. Each of us has lost someone we loved. Each of us reached for a book in the first weeks and found mostly textbooks, or platitudes, or "stages" charts that did not match how the day actually went. We started writing the book we wished we had — and then another, and another, until there were ten of them.
What we do
We publish digital ebooks on grief, loss, caregiving, and the ordinary day-by-day of carrying a life that no longer includes someone you loved. Our guides are designed to be read on a phone at 3 AM, on a tablet beside a hospital bed, or printed at home when you want paper in your hands.
The Solenari Care Library currently includes ten guides, ranging from the very first week of loss to the year of firsts, from particular relationships (mom, spouse, partner) to particular moments (holidays, sudden loss, helping children grieve, the workbook for active healing).
What we don't do
We are not therapists. We are not doctors. We are not a crisis line. Our guides are written from lived experience and careful research, but they are not a substitute for licensed professional care. How we deliver
Every product on our store is a digital download. The moment your payment is approved, you receive a download link by email. There is no shipping, no waiting, no physical product. You can re-download any file you've purchased at any time from your account. Files are yours to keep.
Our voice
We try to write the way a thoughtful friend might speak — not the way a textbook reads. We will not tell you how to feel. We will not push you through "stages." We will not promise that anything heals on a timeline. What we will do is sit with you, offer a small practice or a small reading when you have capacity for it, and stay quiet when you don't.
